RESTUBE TRIGGER PROTECTOR

Some people choose to use the Safety Buoy without a CO₂ cartridge and swim with the buoy already inflated. This is possible, but to protect the inside of the trigger, it's recommended to use the cap when the cartridge is unscrewed.

In recent years, more swimmers have joined the RESTUBE Safety Partnerships, where buoys are pre-inflated. Many also use the inflated buoy for training purposes, as a so-called drag buoy.

The buoy is easily inflated through the mouth valve before entering the water. This increases your visibility to others on the water, such as kayakers, boats, or rescue personnel. It also saves the weight of the cartridge.
