At Aqua Star Network, we live and work by the water, a place of freedom, connection, and clarity. Those same values guide the way we run our business. And freedom is only real when it applies to everyone, everywhere, at every step.
That’s why we take a firm and active stance against all forms of modern slavery and human trafficking. Not because it’s a legal requirement, but because it’s a moral one.
Who we work with and how
We work with a wide range of international partners, from established manufacturers to small independent makers. Whether we meet them at trade shows, workshops, or by word of mouth, we go beyond the handshake. We ask questions, we visit factories where possible, and we look for more than just good products. We look for good people.
Our expectations for partners
We expect our partners to treat their employees fairly, to provide safe working conditions, and to ensure that no forced labour, child labour, or exploitative practices are part of their operation or the operations of their suppliers. These expectations are clearly communicated and form part of our decision-making when onboarding new brands or extending partnerships.
Small team, close to the source
We are a small team, which means we stay close to the source. We don’t hide behind layers of bureaucracy. If something doesn’t feel right, we talk about it. If something needs to change, we act. That’s the advantage of being agile, we can move quickly, ask the uncomfortable questions, and choose integrity over convenience.
Always learning, always improving
But we also know that no supply chain is perfect. That’s why we treat this as an ongoing responsibility. We are continuously learning, improving our due diligence processes, and staying informed about risks in the regions we work with, particularly in manufacturing hubs where violations are more likely.
