Lobster Weight

Streamlined design meets aquatic grace: LobsterWeight empowers freedivers to move as one with the water.

‍

While training in the pools of Chișinău, Moldova, freediver Dmitriy Voloshin grappled with the discomfort and inefficiency of traditional neck weights. Determined to enhance the freediving experience, he envisioned a solution that would harmonize with the body's natural movements. In 2016, this vision materialized as LobsterWeight: a modular, ergonomic neck weight system designed to optimize balance and streamline underwater motion.

‍

Crafted with precision, LobsterWeight's design distributes weight evenly, reducing strain and allowing for extended dives. Its adjustable segments cater to individual needs, reflecting a commitment to personalization and performance. Endorsed by world-class athletes and recognized with the Red Dot Design Award, LobsterWeight has become a trusted companion for freedivers globally.

‍

At Aqua Star Network, we celebrate innovations that deepen our connection to the sea. LobsterWeight exemplifies this by transforming a simple concept into a tool that enhances the freediving journey, aligning seamlessly with our dedication to purposeful design and oceanic exploration.
